It has been 7 years since I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. My path has taken me to the depths of Self exploration and back. In these depths I redefined and confirmed my Service to humanity. Thus the Professional Sensualist was born.

Now, 7 years later I find myself called back to the Bay Area. The level of consciousness and community sing to my heart. The next few months I will be expanding my offerings and sharing these delightful Sensualist sessions with sincere seekers.

Here in my skin suit, I have been surfing the waves. I hope you have created time and space for Self care in these dynamic times. Listen to your body, can you feel where you are holding your tension?

I invite you to take time to take time to be with some water. Be grateful for this wonderful element which we are blessed with. Bring your consciousness to the blessings of water. We are made up of a large percentage of this beautiful substance. Allow it to soak into you, to absorb your days stress and worries. If you are in a bathtub: add a few drops of Lavender or Sandalwood as calming aromatherapy. Allow the water to cocoon you. You deserve it. Be held in her sweet embrace.

Here is a prayer for our planets water:

A PRAYER FOR OUR WATER Dr. Masaru Emoto, the scientist
from Japan who has done all the research and publications about the
characteristics of water and how, among other things, water physically
responds to emotions, has proposed a prayer for the Gulf situation.

Right now, most of us have the predominantly angry emotion when we consider what is happening in the Gulf. And while certainly we are justified in that emotion, we may be of greater assistance to our planet and its life forms, if we sincerely, powerfully and humbly pray the prayer that Dr Emoto, himself, hasproposed.

“I send the energy of love and gratitude to the water and all the living creatures in the Gulf of Mexico and its surroundings. To the whales, dolphins, pelicans, fish, shellfish, plankton’s, corals, algae and all living creatures…..I am sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.”

We are not powerless. We are powerful. Our united energy, speaking this prayer daily…multiple times daily….can literally shift the balance of destruction that is happening.We don’t have to know how……we just have to recognize that the power of love is greater than any power active in the Universe today.
Please join me in repeating this healing prayer of Dr. Emoto’s.

Please drink lots of filtered, healthy H2O. Your body will thank you.

Whatever you may know as your self care regimen, please take the time to pamper yourSelf. As we are being called to be more conscious; our own actions create in this world we live in. We must take care of ourselves, our neighbors, our community. We are called to shine this light of change into the world.  Hope starts right here. With you, with me, with our choices.

In the Tantra world we speak about Sacred spot (for both men and women), and Amrita.  We talk about life force activation, and Kundalini movement. All beautiful and amazing pieces of the Sacred whole.

In the same vein I could talk the Prostate and G Spot, female ejaculation. Bio-electric energy, and subtle energetic body currents. These feel slightly more academic and scientific however I am speaking about similar physical, and energetic structures.

Why is it that we choose one set of words over another? Why does society have less charge around some words and more charge around the direct “slag” terminology of our sexual bodies?

For the last 6 years I have been dancing in this question, it is one that fascinates and frustrates me.  If I could only say what people understand. Our common language does not necessarily include Hindu language references, or New Age energetic understanding. There is a reason why people who study ancient languages spend  years mastering the words of the ancients. There are subtle nuisances which defy casual understanding. Sanskrit is a ancient and beautiful language.

In some ways the landscape of Sacred Sexuality is defined learning the vocabulary. How and in what context we are using the words to describe our physical connection.

A few days ago I was introduced to the word: Auparishtaka: from the Kama Sutra: the Art of Oral sexual dancing.

I continue to be amazed at the many different ways we can say something.

As a being dedicated the the Service of that which is bigger than myself, I rejoice to share with you a new chapter in my life. For a long time, I have stumbled on expressing the words which would best serve others. My internal critic is a very alive and present voice in my internal world. I am human, and part of the blessings I have found on this journey is the Service to share knowledge gained from experience.

I am filled with Joy to be able to share this is a deep aspect of Service. To embody the wisdom and knowledge gained from this life. I am honored to share here. This is truly my Spiritual bliss.

On my journey, I have noticed  internal voices blocking the Goddesses message. My human ego, trying very hard to tell me what is and is not the word of God. Ack! Resistance is futile. I find fear in my mind. Fear of not putting the words in the “right” order (of being judged for poor grammar and poor spelling). I notice the fear of being “unworthy” of these Divine gifts. I notice the different voices inside of myself and honor them for the many facets of this unique, and beautiful being. As I continue to evolve and move through these fears, I embrace the message of the Divine. We are all beautiful as we are.

I declare this a safe space to fully embody the Divine. All that which I bring to session, I bring here to myself. I am called to step deeper into my fears, to explore the depths of Self Realization and continue to bring these gifts to you, for your path, so that you may see yourself in the mirror of the Divine. As I shine ever brighter in my own Divinity,  I may indeed be of great Service. You are here. Something has brought us both to this moment in beautiful, perfect timing. What is alive for you in your life?

What internal voices keep you from shining as brightly as you may? What facets of yourself are calling for love and compassion?  What parts of you desire to be seen, witnessed and consciously integrated?

It has been an amazing Spring travel season for this big hearted being. I have traveled over 2500 miles in one month, and Spirit is sharing with me that it is time to stick closer to home for a little while. I drove by two that I could see from the road. Happenstance and the attached gas station had me stopping by the Cherry Patch II  (http://cherrypatchwhorehouse.com). I desired to have a conversation with the other sisters whom I honor for their Service in the sexual living realm.

When I saw it was an authentic Nevada brothel I giggled, and danced in joy. This was it! This was a chance for me to get to know my sisters and share my gratitude with them. For me to hear from them what their relationship to their work is, and what it feels like for them.

At first I was giddy with the excitement of exploration. I walked up to the locked iron gate and pushed the button. Then a sense of being in a zoo came to me. Was I here to gawk  at the women? I felt the bars with my hands as a middle aged woman came to see what I wanted. Her clothes were baggy and hanging on her. She shared with me that it was “company policy” not to allow anyone but clients into the space.

Perhaps this is because of “a firm no-woman policy to put a stop to the domestic disputes that broke out, disrupting business, when wives and girlfriends came looking for their partners” (brothel pg. 12) Perhaps this was to bring in as much money as possible. I can not say for sure. I only know how it felt to me.

Another book that comes to mind about brothels is “Callahan’s Lady” by Spider Robenson. A great look into a very unique brothel in the fiction world. Now there is a open, generous place!

Energetically I was stunned. After spending a few weeks in various Temples all over the Southwest to be looking at this picture. I was disheartened.

In the various Temples I have been blessed with visiting, conversations often roam to spiritual and conscious realms. Other brothers and sisters who practice these Arts are welcome to be in the space, and hang out in the classroom/lounge. In contrast to the view and feeling I just had at the Nevada brothel there is a general welcoming flavor (with the exceptions, and challenges I found at one point of my trip).

I asked the woman to please convey my gratitude to the women for offering their service to others.

I felt in my heart a true and painful sadness.

As my eyes took in the whole picture I noticed the structure was a old beat up mobile home parked next to the Bar. There were patches on the roof, and the whole thing felt ramshackle and unloved.

Where was the beauty? Where was the welcoming grace of the Goddess? Oshun a beautiful Goddess who loves opulence and sexuality was outraged.

I practiced out of a trailer for a year. I know how it can feel to create a Temple inside of a space which might not be optimal. Not the stereotypical social/economic standards for the beauty of the sharing…and yet in my heart there is always the welcoming, nurturing Love I have for each person who walks through my door.

I noticed how removed these places were. How isolated. To me I felt like, yes,  you can have your sex, however it has to be in the middle of the desert.

People talk of legalization, and Nevada as a place of “see they have legalized sex work there”…and what I see…and feel energetically is pain. I saw how we segregate our sexual lives to “appropriate” spaces. …how unloved and under cared for these places can be.

I am moving from sadness to anger, and outrage. I am moving from disbelief to passionate affirmation.

This is why we have Sacred Sexuality. This is the deep crux of my journey.

I honor my sisters, who choose to work in these places. I hope it is serving them, to bring awareness and joy into their whole lives. I hope the joy of sharing the physical act with a willing participant touches the clients in their lives. I hope that clients of these women feel the healing and connectedness which can come from sharing such intimate energy. I hope they are able to transcend the monetary exchange for what lies beyond the gates of the Goddess. Seeing another person for who they are, and holding them in that time for the sacred journey that can be shared.

You have been on a journey your entire life. Each step which has gotten you to this place is part of your adventure. Each experience has gifted you with a view of who you are, and where you have been. The question now is…where do you desire to go? What is your Intention for your life? What dreams do you dream?

Honoring the creative force which you ARE is a huge step in learning how to love yourself, and embracing your sacred sexuality. Our creative force is our sexual being. In the 2nd chakra, our sexuality is one facet of the creation which we birth into our world in each moment we take breath. I have found the first and foremost step on this path, is to learn how to love yourself…completely.

Do you have a self love practice? How do you nurture yourself? How do you care for yourself? (Are you the last person you look to after a long day of being in the world? Does everyone else come first?)

Loving yourself is more than physical masturbation (and that is one part of the whole, beautiful, picture), how we approach our bodies, how we nurture our emotions and listen to them, how we speak to ourselves are all facets of a healthy self love practice).  And it is practice!

How do you feel in the world? Do you feel fully self actualized? Do you feel  well loved up by and and from withIN? You have the power to change your life. One moment at a time.

As spring grows in fullness, this season again finds me ready and excited to travel to the annual Sedona Conference of Sex and Consciousness Educators. This year I will be presenting a perspective on celibacy in the polyamourious community. On my journey down into Arizona I have availability to create some time with you!
